What Does a Mini Tummy Tuck Address?
A mini tummy tuck, or mini-abdominoplasty, is generally reserved for a smaller amount of excess tissue isolated below the belly button. Since the upper abdomen is not treated, this technique typically does not require repositioning the navel.
Despite its name, a mini tummy tuck is not simply a less involved version of the full procedure. It treats a specific area and may not correct stretched skin or muscle separation that extends above the navel. How Is a Full Tummy Tuck Different?
